Parsons Airways Norseman

Bud and Keith Parsons purchsed ECD off of Boreal Airways in 1951 when the airplanes was a little over two years old.  It remained with the company until it was sold in 1973.
On June 6, 1982 the aircraft overturned in water during a forced landing at Dogskin Lake.  Although it was salvaged, the aircraft was never rebuilt.
Here ia a picture ECD tied to the governemnt dock in Kenora.  Parsons shared this facility with Ontario Central Airlines, Parsons occupying the south side, and OCA the north.
Later Don Watson met with CD Howe and arrqnged to have a wwarehouse built for frieght storage.  Parsons used one third of it, and OCA the rest.  Although both airlines are now fallen flags, the warehouse remains in is use today.
